Blank Slate

The featured picture is a little violet I found growing in the garden. Just for some colour!

The first two pictures below show the ‘blank slate’ of the title: an old sink which used to be a herb garden of sorts, but then got terribly messy and overgrown. I’ve emptied it out and washed it, then tilted it slightly to improve the drainage. It’s now ready for some new residents. The wire is there to protect it from cats!

I haven’t decided what to plant yet. Any ideas?

The final picture is a new hydrangea, bought today, which will be planted out in due course.
